Here’s what some of our online guests think of the new Experience:
For anyone looking for an informed, clear, and passionate tour through this turbulent period, DC Tours is absolutely on the money. Absolutely worth it!
If you want to understand the chain of history that has brought Northern Ireland to where it is today in an honest, frank, warm and friendly environment, I highly recommend this Experience. The online tour is a stimulating experience that you can access from your own kitchen. The historical presentation lasted about an hour and there followed a generous hour and more of open discussion and insight into both history and current affairs. It was a truly privileged insight from two guys who know their subject from the top to the bottom.
I really enjoyed it – The passion and knowledge that you and Paul have is quite something. The conversation yesterday was extremely interesting and well managed. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours on lockdown.
Awesome tour folks – loved it!
I highly recommend the Online Experience. Very interesting, informative and friendly.
Many thanks again for offering this opportunity to meet you and Paul, and to have this great overview of the history of the Troubles. Mom and I both enjoyed it immensely.
Thank you for the tour—it was brilliant as always. I am so pleased the tour adapted to the current circumstances.
Thanks again for an excellent “tour” yesterday. We very much enjoyed it. It was very comprehensive and balanced, which is no easy feat. You have a great online model here that could be used extensively in lockdown and beyond for schools/colleges and tour groups, etc
Joined in with the online experience with Paul Donnelly. It was excellent: part history, part commentary on contemporary events, part virtual tour of Belfast. The online format works very well. Great use of visual material, very structured presentation of fascinating facts, and all combined with interaction with everyone who joins the tour. Particularly good in showing how the big historical context operated on daily life. Brilliantly done. Highly recommended.
Many thanks for hosting the event – I really enjoyed it. One of the things I thought you got just right was the neutrality!
