We were absolutely delighted to be named as finalists in the Tour Innovator category of the Arival Spotlight Awards. We were the only finalists representing the UK and Ireland across all five categories of these global awards.

We were delighted to be named finalists in the 2023 Belfast Telegraph Business Awards. This was a new category and the judges were looking for proof of innovation and sustainability as well as business growth.

Wanderlust magazine named our Lead Guide, Paul Donnelly, the UK’s Top Tour Guide at an awards ceremony held in London in October 2019.

Tripadvisor named our History of Terror tour the No. 4 experience in the whole of the UK at the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards in 2019. This meant we were the highest rated UK tour outside London.

Every year since 2014, Tripadvisor has named A History of Terror the top walking tour in Belfast.  We currently hold ten Certificates of Excellence and we are members of the Tripadvisor Hall of Fame.

We nearly won the award for ‘Authentic Northern Ireland Experience of the Year’ in 2019 but the competition was stiff! We were still delighted that the Northern Ireland Tourist Board awarded us ‘Highly Commended’.

Tourism Northern Ireland has rated us ‘5 Stars – Outstanding’ in their Experience Grading Scheme every year since 2019.  We are the only tour company specialising in political tours to hold this accolade.

Tourism NI created The Giant Spirit Experience Collection to promote the very best of Northern Ireland tourism. It is a carefully curated group of the finest tours and experiences available in Northern Ireland and includes our city centre tours.

Innovate NI awarded DC Tours ‘Gold Level Innovator’ status in 2021 in recognition of the new digital tours and products we have created and developed during lockdown.  These tours allow travellers to explore and discover our history and culture in new and alternative ways.

Green Tourism’s Silver award recognises our commitment and dedication to sustainable, responsible and environmental tourism.
