Covid-19 Safety Measures

Our guest’s health and safety is of vital importance to us.  We have attained the ‘Good to Go’ industry quality standard and have implemented the following steps to ensure your tour is as safe as possible:

Social Distancing – Guides will maintain social distancing from guests during the tour in accordance with government guidelines.  We ask that you also maintain the appropriate social distance between your group and any other guests on the tour.

Capacity Limitations – Tours are operating with limited capacity (currently a maximum of 10 guests per tour).

PPE – Our guides wear an approved N95 face mask for the duration of the tour for their safety and yours.  Guides will also carry hand sanitiser which will be available to guests at all times.

Staff Health – Our guides will be checked every day to ensure they are fit and well before guiding their tour.

Equipment Cleanliness – We regularly use Vox audio headsets on our tours.  These headsets allow you to maintain social distancing whilst hearing the guide clearly at all times.  All headsets, lanyards and earpieces are sanitised before and after each tour and will be quarantined for 3 days after each use as an extra safety measure.  You are welcome to use your own earphones with the headset if you wish (they use a standard 3.5mm jackplug).

Contactless Tour – We understand that our guests may prefer an entirely contactless tour experience – It is entirely your choice whether you wish to use an audio headset or not.

Guest Guidelines – It would be hugely appreciated if guests would bring their own masks and wear them for the duration of the tour, for the comfort and safety of our guides and other guests.  If you need to cough or sneeze during a tour please do so into a tissue or your elbow.  And if you or any of your group feel unwell, please postpone your visit – we will be happy to refund you or re-schedule your booking at no extra cost!

Payments and Gratuities – We would like to avoid any cash-handling where possible.  It would be great if you can help with this by buying tickets in advance from this website.

Cancellations and Refunds – we have always offered a full refund for cancellations up to 24 hours in advance.  We are now offering a full refund with at least 2 hour’s notice for tickets bought directly from our website.
