DC Tour’s lead guide, Paul Donnelly, tells us a little about himself and why he loves being a tour guide in Belfast. Off camera he was also happy to share some of his favourite haunts and things to do in the city too:
Favourite restaurant:
Eddie Spences, Beersbridge Road (possibly the best fish and chips in Belfast).
Favourite café:
Graffitti, Ormeau Road.
Favourite bar:
Iron (or The Garrick, Chichester Street).
Favourite thing to do with the kids:
Ignore them or cycling if stuck, the Comber Greenway is a big favourite.
Favourite building:
Rosemary Street First Presbyterian (non-subscribing).
Favourite place to be:
The Linen Hall Library or the Oval football stadium.
Favourite escape from the city:
Portstewart and Benone Strand.
