We are absolutely delighted to be named as finalists in the Tour Innovator category of the Arival Spotlight Awards. We are the only finalists representing the UK and Ireland across all five categories of these global awards.
The Tour Innovator award is for tour operators that demonstrate innovative approaches, offer creative itineraries, or have designed unique travel experiences that set them apart. So we hope we have done enough to win!
We are big fans of Arival at DC Tours – you might not have heard of them if you don’t work in the travel industry, but they are a very highly regarded global organisation which runs trade events for tour businesses like ours, known as “in-destination experiences”. They also provide an online community for companies and put out a really useful and insightful weekly newsletter. So getting to the finals of these awards is a Really Big Deal for us.
The Arival Spotlight Awards celebrate the very best in tours, activities, attractions and experiences across the world. The finalists for each category were chosen by a panel of experienced and impartial experts who are all leaders in marketing, tour and attraction operations, research, technology and other aspects of the industry. The winners for each category will be announced at the Arival 360 event in Orlando on October 10th, 2023, so not long to wait until we hear.
I’ve wanted to go to an Arival 360 event for a few years now – unfortunately I won’t be able to make it to Orlando but I’m really hoping to get to the event they are holding in Berlin in March 2024.
